This form adds you to the Angels for Authors list of editing contractors that they sub-contract to their author clients. Please fill this form out to the fullest extent possible.

Contracting Terms:

By filling out this form, you are agreeing to the following terms: 

• If the editor (subsequently "You") agrees to do a project, You will see it through by the deadline agreed upon between You, Angels for Authors, and the author.
• You agree that if you miss an agreed-upon deadline, You will have a strike against You for future project assignment. If You receive a second strike, Angels for Authors will remove You from our list of potential contractors.
• You agree that Angels for Authors (subsequently "We") will serve as quality control on your work and may return a manuscript to you with comments and requests.
• You agree that being on the contractor list does not guarantee that We will find work for You.
• You agree that you will not contact the author directly unless the contact is approved by Angels for Authors. This is to protect both You and the author.
• You agree that We will take a 10% commission from the payment made by the author for making the connection between You and the author who needs Your editing skills.
• You agree to deliver the work in the following stages: 1) first chapter copy edit, 2) 50% of manuscript copy edit and story commentary if requested, 3) complete manuscript with story commentary if requested. We do this to engage the author in the process.
• We agree to pay You in a timely manner, within 30 days of receiving payment from the author.
• We agree that if the author does not pay for the editing, Angels for Authors will ensure You receive the promised payment within 90 days of completion of the project.
